to tell someone that something bad or dangerous may happen, so that they can avoid it or prevent it

گفتن به کسی که ممکن است اتفاق بد یا خطرناکی بیفتد، تا بتواند از آن اجتناب کند یا از آن جلوگیری کند

to tell someone about something before it happens so that they are not worried or surprised by it

اینکه چیزی را قبل از وقوع به کسی بگوید تا از آن نگران یا غافلگیر نشود
