used to introduce a statement that makes the main statement coming after it seem surprising, unlikely, or unexpected

برای معرفی عبارتی استفاده می شود که بیانیه اصلی بعد از آن را تعجب آور، بعید یا غیرمنتظره می کند.

used like ‘but’ to add a fact or opinion that makes what you have just said seem less definite, less important etc

مانند “اما” برای اضافه کردن یک واقعیت یا نظر استفاده می شود که باعث می شود آنچه شما گفتید کمتر قطعی، کمتر مهم و غیره به نظر برسد.

used after adding a fact, opinion, or question which seems surprising after what you have just said, or which makes what you have just said seem less true

پس از افزودن یک واقعیت، نظر یا سوالی که بعد از آنچه که گفتید شگفت‌انگیز به نظر می‌رسد یا باعث می‌شود آنچه که گفتید کمتر درست به نظر برسد استفاده می‌شود.
